Poeton Polska has added Nadcap Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to its list of accreditations. The extensive audit was completed at the end of December with formal certification awarded in January 2020.

NDT is a key service to the aerospace industry and now allows Poeton Polska to offer a wide range of inspection processes to test for material flaws and defects without damaging or altering the parts. Integrity and reliability of parts can be evaluated by the specialist team of NDT technicians saving time and costs for customers when compared to other inspection techniques.

Andy Haywood, Group Quality Assurance Manager for Poeton, commented:

“This approval is another step towards becoming the complete surface treatment supplier for the Polish aerospace industry. The Poeton Polska team is already working towards gaining the next set of approvals in order to further expand our offering to customers.”

The newly acquired Nadcap accreditation adds to the facilities expanding approvals list which also features AS9100, Polish Military Concession and an array of customer approvals including Airbus, Collins UTC and Moog.
